What does a personal trainer do?

Personal trainers design and implement fitness programs tailored to individual clients, provide guidance on exercise technique, offer nutritional advice, and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals.

 

Why should I hire a personal trainer?

A personal trainer can provide expertise, accountability, and motivation. They can customize a workout plan based on your goals, ensure proper form to prevent injuries, and offer ongoing support.

    

How often should I work out with you?

The frequency of sessions depends on your goals, schedule, and budget. I will work with you to customize a schedule for you!

 

How long does a personal training session last?

Sessions typically last 60 minutes.

 

What should I wear to a personal training session?

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing and supportive athletic shoes if you wish. Bring water, and a positive attitude.

 

Do I need to have any fitness equipment at home?

I am able to design programs that require minimal equipment, or I may incorporate some basic items like dumbbells or resistance bands. It’s all up to what you are comfortable with. 

 

Can I work with you if I have a pre-existing medical condition or injury?

Yes, but you should receive medical clearance.  I am happy to communicate with your provider to make sure your program coincides with their recommendations for exercise.  I will always refer out if I feel your condition is outside my scope of practice.

What is virtual coaching?

Virtual coaching involves providing coaching services remotely, typically through FaceTime or Zoom. This allows clients to receive access Meg from anywhere in the world.

 

What are the benefits of virtual coaching?

Virtual coaching offers flexibility, convenience, and the ability to connect with Meg regardless of geographical location. It also eliminates the need for travel, making it easier for clients to integrate coaching into your busy schedules.

    

Is virtual coaching as effective as in-person coaching?

Yes, virtual coaching can be just as effective as in-person coaching.

 

Are coaching session confidential?

Yes, all coaching sessions are confidential. I adhere to ethical standards and privacy policies to ensure client confidentiality.

    

How do I schedule in person or virtual coaching sessions?
